  • What is it?

    WhyWeRun is a unique 250 km ultra running event. This is not a race, but an event with a greater purpose: to enable runners to achieve something amazing with support from our incredible community of fellow runners while raising funds for bigmoose.

    23rd September 2024 - 29th September 2024

  • Where is it?

    Pembrokeshire, Wales.

    Taking in parts of the Welsh Coastal path, the route is both challenging but beautiful, with spectacular scenery and wildlife.

  • Distance?

    250km, over 5 days, 6,900m elevation.

  • 6 nights accommodation consisting of a single bed, in shared 8 person dormitory with en suite shower and toilet

How to enter?

Registration is open until the 31st January. 

Entry is done via a ballot system, and to enter you’ll need to fill out the form at the bottom of this page. If you're successful, you will be asked to:

  • Pay an entry fee of £500.
    This is essential to enable us to cover the costs of making WhyWeRun happen. Payment plans will be available.
  • Raise a minimum of £500 for bigmoose (if you raise over £1500, you will be able to get your entry fee back!)

Successful entrants will receive confirmation by mid February allowing you plenty of time to train.
