Why I Coach?
I started my journey from a place of uncertainty, unsure if I could reach the goals I had set for myself.
Like many runners, I faced self-doubt and the persistent question of, “Can I really do this?” I didn’t start with natural ability or unshakable confidence, but I discovered that with consistent effort, a willingness to keep showing up, and a commitment to the process, I could go further than I ever imagined.
Running transformed me in ways I never anticipated. With each race—from my first half marathon to a 250km ultra—I built a foundation of confidence, discipline, and resilience.
I learned that setbacks are part of the journey, and it’s in those moments of struggle that we truly grow.
Running has been a lifeline for me, a way to cope, heal, and find clarity in times of uncertainty.
This personal experience has given me a deep understanding of the mental health challenges many athletes face.
I’ve seen how running can be a powerful tool for transformation, helping to lift the weight of anxiety, depression, and self-doubt.
I believe that endurance sports offer not just physical strength but also a profound sense of purpose and community.
My journey has shown me that it’s okay to be vulnerable, to acknowledge our struggles, and to seek support along the way.
This is why I’m so passionate about coaching.
